The acclaimed electro music producer, Art Was Art will unveil his new single, ‘Final Destination,’ on May 31st. Initially premiering on Beatport, the track will soon be available on all major digital platforms. Among the first to experience the single was the legendary Laurent Garnier, who praised it as a “very cool track.” Art Was Art first gained significant attention with his breakthrough track ‘Orwellian Nightmares,’ which became Beatport’s best-selling electro track of 2021, propelling his name from relative obscurity to international fame. With ‘Final Destination,’ Art Was Art continues to push the boundaries of the genre, promising a compelling auditory experience to captivate listeners worldwide.

“The goal was to create a powerful production incorporating lo-fi elements, distortion, and vintage sounds while maintaining a forward-thinking approach,” Art explained. “The groove and lyrics came together swiftly, but the arrangement and fine-tuning took weeks. I constantly revised the track, striving to avoid cliché routines while maintaining my signature sound.”

Feedback from notable names like Stanny Abram, Ongun Tutuncu, PheuZen, and other electro artists affirmed its potential. However, to Art’s surprise, the French superstar Laurent Garnier was the first DJ to praise the track.

“Laurent Garnier is an absolute legend and the first DJ in the world to review the single! When I heard he liked the track, I burst with joy!” Art said. “Laurent’s praise is a compliment I’ll cherish forever!”

This release holds special significance as it marks the 50th release of the ZEN DNA label. Reflecting on this milestone, Art expressed pride in contributing to a label dedicated to enhancing contemporary music. “I was honored to produce a track for the occasion,” he said. The track is a fitting tribute to the decade-long commitment to quality music.

‘Final Destination’ is a testament to Art Was Art’s growth. Inspired by science fiction and dystopian themes, the track is set to resonate with fans old and new. “Ultimately, my journey is about staying true to my artistic vision and embracing whatever comes next,” the artist stated.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Final Destination’ exclusively on Dancefloor Romancer. Enjoy!
