London-based DJ and producer Robin Michelangelo, better known as Robin M, has carved out a distinctive identity in the underground scene by blending deep, percussive and melodic house with the textures of his British, Italian and Ethiopian heritage. As the founder of ULU Records, he has guided his label to chart-topping releases on Beatport and Traxsource, earning platinum and gold certifications, and launched the ULU Rising event series in 2024, delivering a string of sold-out shows.

Beyond running his own platform, Robin has linked up with Bedouin and released music on the respected Human By Default, as well as Diplo’s Higher Ground. His productions have earned support from BBC Radio 1, Black Coffee, Bedouin, Dennis Cruz and many more, while his DJ sets have travelled from Pacha Ibiza, Blue Marlin and Club Chinois to Nyege Nyege Festival, Fabric and stages across Kenya, South Africa and the UK.

To celebrate his new remix for Bedouin on Human By Default, Robin M has put together an exclusive mix for our Select Cuts series. The journey opens with his collaborative cut ‘Speak To Me (PM Mix)’ alongside Elif and Lazarusman, before weaving through Bedouin’s ‘Salaam’, a Meera reshape of The Cure’s ‘All I Am’ and standouts from Cioz, Nic Fanciulli and Stacey Pullen. From there, Robin showcases his own catalogue with ‘Pampero’, ‘Sahara (DJEFF Remix)’, ‘Siamese Twin’ and ‘Oneki’, while his much-anticipated Robin M Remix of Bedouin and Marieme’s ‘Reasons’ takes pride of place. The selection rounds out with cuts from Mydir, Franky Boissy, Roland Clark, Vertic and Motip White, before closing on a stunning Âme reshape of Osunlade’s ‘Envision’.
