There is a particular kind of magic that unfolds when a live electronic act steps into the studio armed with nothing but hardware and an idea, and German duo Room Service have spent more than a decade perfecting exactly that craft. Formed in Frankfurt back in 2012 by Marco Gorek and Herr Rossi, the pair have grown into one of the country’s most compelling live acts, coaxing warm, organic textures from analog synthesizers, drum machines and hands-on studio gear. Now they arrive on Future Romance with ‘Holiday’, a three track EP built for long summer days, open horizons and euphoric nights on the dancefloor.

‘Holiday’ is the title cut we are thrilled to premiere today, and it captures everything that makes Room Service such a special act. The track bridges the emotional pull of Progressive House with the driving energy of Melodic Techno, laying rich melodic storytelling over hypnotic sequences and a rolling, hands in the air groove. It feels uplifting and deeply immersive all at once, the musical equivalent of watching the sun dip below an endless horizon. Across the wider EP, ‘Holiday’, ‘Beach’ and ‘Sun Dance’ each carry their own sense of depth and movement, a testament to the duo’s dedication to hardware based production.
