2 June 2017

Well well well, the week is finally over and of course you are thirsty for quality music to start your weekend in a proper way. You will be happy to know that you are exactly where you need to be to meet your needs. As usual, in collaboration with Traxsource – the home of modern house music, we have gathered especially for you, dear community of readers, the best jams to quench your thirst. Our selection this week includes artists such as David Mayer, Simun and Robot Koch.

WWD Wildcard Selection

5. David Mayer – Moonlock [Muna Musik]

Mayer offers us an absolute monster here, the founding member of the artists collective and label Keinemusik brings heavy pads in a cut meant for the after hours.

4. Da Sunlounge – I’d Play That (Original) [Deep Deluxe Recordings]

Da Sunlounge brings on the shelf the record you needed to ignite the disco. Drop that needle on it.

3. Simun – My Game [Go Deeva Light Records]

Chunky baseline, killer vocal snippet that’s all the Dutch based producer and dj Simun needed to get groovin’

2. Max Marotto, DJ Fopp – We Got To Love (Original Mix) [City Soul Recordings]

The Italian veterans Max Marotto and DJ Fopp make their debut on the City Soul Recordings imprint with their disco infused EP. Let’s dance!

1. Robot Koch, Delhia De France – Reach (Chi Tanh Remix) [Diynamic Music]

Managing to grab the number one spot from our wildcard selection this week, it’s Robot Koch who makes his debut on Solumun’s imprint ‘’Diynamic’’. The LA based producer teamed up with the French singer Delhia De France, while Chile Thanh was on the remix duty for this one. The result? an uplifting dance-floor hymn that calls for closed eyes and raised hands.
