VBX is a hugely well-respected party in the underground dance world and it has taken only six years to achieve such recognition. The parties they throw, predominantly in their home city Amsterdam, are always packed with proper music lovers thanks to the tasteful line-ups assembled. Each one mixes a dream of their much-loved residents along with bonafide legends.

The team know their local Amsterdam scene inside out and back to front and have a stylish minimal aesthetic to all they do, which means the music is always the main star. They know the best venues and put on legendary parties during ADE with names like Zip, Sonja Moonear and Ricardo Villalobos all playing next to residents Ferro, Reiss, Makcim and Frank Haag.

All this fantastic ethos is transported to the woods of Groningen on May 25th for Planet Paradigm Festival. Once an abandoned warehouse, Paradigm was an important cultural hub located in a rural area of the northern Netherlands and they bring their know how to this very special and cosy boutique event.

In the past, it has sold out on resident names alone and this year the festival’s stunning stage in the woods will be soundtracked by the likes of Zip, Rhadoo, Ion Ludwig, LEO POL, Ferro & many more, all surrounded by tall, ivy-covered green trees and organic wooden huts. With a sustainable ethic all close to the heart of the organisers, there really is no reason not to head out to this most classy and intimate affair.
